We have been tasked with preparing the foundations and drainage to receive temporary cabin office accommodation. Phase II of the project includes installing a ramp and step access into the accommodation.

CEF Concrete at New Factory

Concreting at CEF

The concrete floor for the CEF site in Worksop, Nottinghamshire is now complete, with approximately 63m3 of concrete being laid. We are happy with the results. Also the site is tidy and organised, ready for the masonry work commencing.

Jardines (UK) Ltd Factory Extension in Rotherham

We are delighted to announce that Lindrick Construction Services have just secured a contract for Jardines (UK) Ltd at their Hellaby Unit, Rotherham. The project includes the demolition of the single-story building, a part increase of the roof height to the factory area and create a second-floor office area, and externally 3 additional car parking spaces.
The project remit includes a full strip out of the office roof, soft strip out of the factory, constructing a new storey, new external windows and door openings, blockwork, fitting the factory steelwork, electrical, plumbing and the painting and decorating. The project should take around 7 months to complete.

CEF Factory Update

Our site engineering team have now designed, manufactured and installed the new CEF building in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. All is going well with the install.


Shireoaks Village Hall Outside

The Shireoaks Village Hall Refurbishment is Complete

We are delighted to announce that our full renovation of works at The Shireoaks Village Hall is now complete! The renovation included full strip out of existing kitchens, washrooms, existing heating system, existing electrics and bar and lounge facilities. We then replaced these with state of the art modern facilities. The key piece of the project was the refurbishment of the main hall floor which was done to a remarkable standard. It has been an absolute pleasure working with everyone involved in The Shireoaks Village Hall.

“The Village Hall in Shireoaks has led an interesting life starting off as a chapel of ease and then becoming the village school, after the school moved the hall was converted to the village hall but after many years of continued use by the community it was time to refresh and refurbish the building so that it would continue be an excellent meeting place for the community. When we set out on this ambitious project we were impressed by how Lindrick captured our vision for how we wanted the hall to look. Also being able to manage the whole of the project and provide internally all of the key trades was a key deciding factor.

Lindrick also recognised that this was a community project and were keen to support us in what we wanted to achieve. We felt confident from start that this was going to be a partnership that worked well and meeting every week with Dan and Adam meant that we had a clear picture of how things were progressing. Dan and Adam and all of the people that worked on the project have done an excellent job and it was clear that they really cared about how the hall would look when it was finished.

We now have a truly beautiful Village Hall with a fantastic new kitchen, new toilets including an accessible toilet and separate baby changing facilities. The heating system has been completely replaced and new LED lighting installed throughout the building. We also now have a new bar area and additional cupboard space which is going to be really appreciated by everyone who uses the hall.

CEF Factory Development

We are pleased to announce that we have been chosen to be the Principal Contractor for a brand new factory for City Electrical Factors (CEF) in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. These works started on the 18th February  2019. We expect the project to run for 24 weeks.

The scope of works includes all civils and groundworks, fabrication and installation of the steelworks for the portal frame, supplying and fitting the insulated cladding for the walls and roof, all masonry, electrics, glazing and electric shutters. Lindrick Construction will also be carrying out the finishing works to the offices, warehouse, bathrooms and kitchen. This includes vinyl flooring, partition walls, carpet tiles and suspended ceiling throughout.

We are looking forward to carrying out the works for this project and we will keep the news feed updated throughout. See images below from the project so far.



Shireoaks Village Hall with Lindrick Van

Shireoaks Village Hall Progress

Shireoaks Village Hall Refurbishment is halfway through the project now and it is coming along nicely.

So far we have completed the rip out of the existing bar, central heating system, kitchen and washroom facilities and also removed the old plasterwork. As part of our remit we have installed a tanking membrane system to all walls and then boarded and plastered. Then we installed all new central heating piping and supplied and installed a new 60kw commercial boiler, where we have concealed the pipework in a false stud wall.

We have removed the existing kitchen, ladies, gentlemens, and disabled toilets. We then fitted a fully functioning new modern kitchen, as well as all new toilets, sinks, and hand dryers in all three toilets. A baby changing area has been created.

We are on course for full completion for 1st March 2019.

Old Police Station Conversion into Luxury Boutique Hotel

We converted an old police station into a 13-bedroom luxury boutique hotel called The Kings Park Hotel. Incorporating an onsite bar, restaurant and courtyard. The project is due to be opened at the end of October 2018.

As mentioned previously we have been renovating the Kings Park Hotel, most of the work has been done now it is just the finishing touches left to do. These consist of restoring the original police station door with a matching one in a royal police blue, to match up with the photo below from 1920.




We have restored all of the timber sash windows to working order, fitted a commercial grade kitchen, fully tiled bar and restaurant including matching tiles to the former courtyard. We have supplied a bespoke bar, aluminium foyer entrance. To the courtyard side, it is anthracite windows and doors including a bifold into the restaurant.
