Hexagon

We were tasked with a bespoke SIPs build. The client required a ‘hexagon’ shape unit which will be used as a holiday let. Lindrick Eco Build were asked to undertake the works as a turn key operation, to include all elements of the build, including site and project managers.

The wall panels in our structural SIPs building system are joined together with mini SIP joining splines to reduce thermal bridging. Our panel core is graphite EPS insulation which is 100% recyclable.

The wall construction shown has reflective VCL to the inside, service battens and vapour check plasterboard.

Outside: breather membrane, 12mm MgO render carrier board and local stone finish. Super-fast construction method with zero risk of interstitial condensation.

Total wall thickness of just 271mm with 219mm SIPs panels, wall U Value = 0.13W/m²K. U values can be reduce further if required by adding insulation inside to the service void.

External finishes can be altered to suit e.g. timber cladding, cavity and brick outer leaf, sheet metal and more.

Triple Glazed windows and bi-folds were fitted throughout. Using our Lindrick Group of Companies, we also supplied and fitted all the electrics, smart lighting, bespoke kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Our house Kits are all manufactured from fully third party certified Structural Insulated Panels, (SIPs) and the building system is approved by mortgage lenders and structural warranty providers.
