Details
We were tasked with transforming a three storey town house into a bed sit with six individual living spaces, each living space having its very own kitchen area, en-suite and relax area. In addition, forming three separate office spaces within the extended area to the rear of the property along with office staffs personal kitchen and toilet. This was all done in our hometown of Worksop, Nottinghamshire for a highly reputable homeless charity Hope Community Services.
- Installing new partitioning walls
- Fitting new bathrooms suites
- Vinyl click flooring throughout the living accommodation
- Fitting new box sash windows and composite doors where necessary
- Complete new install of boiler and heating
- All electrical works, including lighting, sockets, cctv, door bells and exterior sensor lights
- Bespoke fire alarm system and install of an automated opening vent
- All joinery throughout, including kitchenettes
- All painting and decorating
- Working to strict building regulations
Project
Challenges
The project was challenging from start to finish, with a tight completion date set due to our client having occupants waiting to move in, it provided a test for our site team. Working through troubling times an obstacle was never too far away. Our site team dealt with everything we had thrown at us though. We liaised with the client, implemented there needs and additions. Resulting in our project being delivered on time as promised.
